Valentine's Gifts for HIM

Ladies, we know men are easy to please, overall. Give them food, gadgets, adventure and sex. Blog Sisters is here to help with the first three for Valentine's Day, you'll have to handle the latter one!

Starting with ACTION or ADVENTURE
Treat him to an airplane ride across your hometown sky. Usually aerial tours are offered at small, ancillary airports in major cities. He will enjoy the thrill of flight higher than a bird's eye view but at lower level than commercial jet. At the same time you can linger with romantic thoughts through the puffy clouds. In Miami, be sure to visit MiamiFly.com. For $130 the hour it's a better value than dinner at expensive restaurant!

What men doesn't like his toys? How about a Panasonic Viera TH-42PZ85U 42-Inch 1080p Plasma HDTV to watch his favorite program or sports game ? At 42" it's not too big and not too small. An equally fitting price of $850.

For the Music Aficionado, 2009 marked 25 years of the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame. This bound book of legendary photos includes every member ever inducted to the exclusive club of the world's best musicians and producers. A music-trivia-loving man can fill his encyclopedic brain with facts and insights from a quarter of a century of music history. For ultimate effect, throw in his favorite Springsteen album. The Rock and Roll Hall of Fame: The First 25 Years is available at Amazon for only $27.00.

For the Clotheshorse
Men enjoy comfortable clothing but they also have alter ego and are willing to look the part. Alton Lane has taken the art of fine tailoring from a short man with a measuring tape to infinity and beyond. At their futuristic showroom in Manhattan the owners will escort your man into a minimalist black box that performs a complete body scan of measurements. A few weeks later, a customized black label tuxedo will arrive on his doorstep. It will set you back $800-1,000, but every time he channels his inner Bond he'll think of you. http://www.altonlane.com/.

For the Romantic Traveler
He loves warm weather, adventure and romance? Then he's the ultimate Bond! (Does he have a twin?) Get away this Valentine's Day to the Mexican State of Jalisco, where blue agave grows on the hillsides and the world's most famous tequilas are made each year. At the Villa Ganz, in Guadalajara just miles from the airport, suites are available starting at $280 nightly, and the concierge will make reservations and hire a driver to tour the distilleries and mezcalerias in the region. http://www.villaganz.com/. Great post - you are definitely on the right track of what I am looking for as a guy. The best gifts are things that last - either a memorable experience or something that is high quality and will last a while. Nice dinners are overrated and sweaters should be from grandmothers. I already have an Alton Lane tuxedo, so perhaps the aerial tour of the city is in store for me!

Wow! I have to agree with Steve. You are on the right track. Actually you hit the target! We men are simple creatures and really easy to please. So ladies--stop spending your money on estrogen-laden, psycho babble women's magazines like Cosmo. Don't over analyze. Christine congrats on your posting--the first time I have ever taken the time to add a comment and will make the effort to comment more!
